Bordeaux white
le G de Château Guiraud 2019
€18.90 Out of Stock
Made in Sauternes in a dry style. Sauvignon blanc (70%) and Sémillon (30%). Aged in oak barrels for 12 months including a third in new oak. The resulting wine is precise, complex and delicate with similar fruitiness and aromatics found in a Sauternes except that this is a “dry Sauternes”, officially under the appellation protégée Bordeaux blanc. Interestingly, there is a file awaiting for the creation of a new AOP “Sauternes sec” (dry) but time will tell.
